It did feel like the end of the first half. Happy that it finally has some answers and seems to be plotting a course for where that Nexus Dawn short picks up. As usual the action is exciting to see (for what little there is in the episode). The deep dive with the scientists is appreciated, but I still feel like they could offer a bit more. Not just in dialogue but even just in the background text details. After the first three eps or so, I didn't feel like they were able to put much effort into adding stuff to glean from the background text, though I guess that's a minor quibble.

At first I was dissapointed they didn't immediately have Elle confronting Joseph about his past, but since the episode gave us a lot more to chew on, I'll gladly let that hype me up for the future. Hoping these false memories have something more specific in mind than just random stuff Wallace put in to enact his plan. The angel and the landmarks seem oddly specific.

Now talking about Easter Eggs......Doc M is modelled after the current appearance of David Cronenberg, is he not? And I've always suspected that the number 1701 is a Star Trek reference they've been pushing for some reason. Maybe I need to wait for the Behind the Scenes book to shed some light on that.
