Awesome. Ridley's tv prowess has never been as great as it has now so I'm excited to have Alien and Blade Runner on tv out right now. I can actually imagine Harrison Ford popping up because they can play around with the idea that his character is Deckard (who really is a replicant) or a replicant copy of Deckard, etc. Surprised though. I expected this to be an HBO Max thing and not Amazon. Though Amazon did great with Ridley's Man in the High Castle.

I imagine it's still at least a couple of years away since it's only in the development stage. But it is nice to hear that Michael Green is involved. No mention of Hampton Fancher, though :(. It'd be awesome if Villeneuve is able to direct an episode or two, since he has said he is open to doing more Blade Runner.

Yup. A little dissapointed that it's not a full series order yet. As for Villeneuve, let's hope he's not too busy on the Dune sequel and spinoff.

So apparently it’s on priority development which means it’s going to be fast tracked to development ahead of Amazon’s other pre produced shows. Which means hopefully we will be getting it in 2-3 years. According to the article you posted.

Sad that Raised By Wolves had to be cancelled. But at least his hands will now be freer once he's done with Napoleon.

I'm sure we'll see Ridley Scott direct an episode or two. I wouldn't be surprised if his son Luke directed some, as he did two of the BR short films (and some Raised By Wolves, which I still need to watch at some point). Whether Villeneuve would be involved I guess would depend on when it goes into production. He's probably got his hands completely full with Dune: Part Two for the next year. But I'm also not sure if he's the type of director to take on one episode of a TV series unless it was the pilot, which I'm sure is reserved for Ridley.

As for the showrunner, Silka Luisa, the only thing I've seen that she's been involved with is the Halo show... which I really did not like. But her other work seems decent, so I'm not too worried there.
