Great post. One of my favorite things about Dick's relationship with Blade Runner, according to Paul M. Sammon, is during the time Dick was dismissive of it, he would deridingly refer to it as "Road Runner."

I also feel Deckard being a replicant would ruin Roy Batty's story arc. He wouldn't be "more human than human" if Deckard was a replicant.

Exactly. Seeing as Scott decided to humanise the replicants, Roy Batty was a good character, more human indeed, perhaps, than the (human) Deckard.
