Film Continuity The Wallace Corporation was the second manufacturer of the Nexus line of replicants. It was the successor to the Tyrell Corporation, the manufacturer of the original Nexus replicants. Wallace acquired the remnants of Tyrell following its bankruptcy, giving it control of the replicant technology and the business records of the defunct company. Aside from the manufacture of replicants, the corporation also established settlements outside of Earth and promoted colonization. It quickly grew to a force to be reckoned with, with massive influence over politics and other affairs, as well as almost unlimited jurisdiction, one such example being their ability to conduct airstrikes and infiltrate government establishments such as the LAPD in order to suit their needs. ==History== The Wallace Corporation was founded by Niander Wallace, Sr.CityOfAngels as late as 2025. That year, his son, Niander Wallace, Jr. pioneered advancements in genetically modified food, made accomplishments in synthetic farming, and gratuitously shared his patents. This averted the famine that threatened life on planet Earth and ended the global crisis, thus been considered a philanthropist and a benevolent savior by most if not all. This allowed him to expand the company across Earth and into the Off-world colonies.timeline In 2028, Wallace acquired the remnants of the bankrupt Tyrell Corporation.timeline Wallace Sr. was killed in 2032 as a result of a plot concocted by his son, who immediately took over the company.AllTheBestMemories In the 2030s, Wallace made advancements in replicant technology, designing them to be more compliant and obedient than the models created by Tyrell. In 2036, Wallace was able to convince the government that advances in the control of replicants, coupled with an existential need to colonize new worlds, made the reintroduction of replicants both safe and necessary. This paved the way for the Nexus-9's introduction and the repeal of replicant prohibition that year.br2036timeline By 2049, the Wallace Corporation had successfully reintroduced millions of replicants into production, but was still unable to satisfy the need for billions of replicants to facilitate rapid colonization of new planets. Niander Wallace's focus, therefore, turned to the lost technology/phenomenon of biologically reproducing replicants (i.e. through pregnancy).br2049 ==Gallery== <gallery> Wallace Tower concept art.jpg|Concept art for the Wallace Corporation Earth Headquarters Wallace_Corporation.jpg| Replicant_designs_on_display.png|Replicant modules on display at Wallace Corporation </gallery> ==References== Reflist
