Blade Runner: Black Lotus: Las Vegas #1 is the first issue of Blade Runner: Black Lotus: Las Vegas.
Plot[]
Menzes is summoned to a meeting with Niander Wallace, who has had his assistant Tyler assemble a "Doll Squad." In doing so, she has recruited an Off-world mercenary to accompany Menzes and Tatsuo in hunting Elle. Wallace tasks Menzes in recruiting Alani Davis, since she previously survived an encounter with Elle.
Menzes visits Davis at her apartment, offering a restoration of her mobility as well as transport for her and her wife to any Off-world colony. Davis accepts, to Wallace's delight. He has a surgical team sent for Davis and orders Menzes and Tatsuo to stake out the area near the spa in Death Valley, where Elle first awakened.
Elle goes near the Death Valley Spa, where she sees desert pirates plundering a transport. Needing food, she follows them back to their camp. They catch her, but the group are fired upon by a team of "Brekkermen" belonging to Brekker Solutions, allowing her to escape.
Davis is fitted with cybernetics that allow her to walk. She is introduced to the rest of the Doll Squad: Mr. Smith, Mr. Brown, Ivan Kozlov, and Kate Marlowe. They travel to Death Valley confronting the group of Brekkermen dealing with the pirates. Learning from the pirate leader that Elle escaped, the Doll Squad figures that she fled for Las Vegas and head that way. The Brekkermen leader learns the bounty on Elle's head and decides they go after her too.
In the ruins of Las Vegas, Elle enters the Paradise Hotel and Casino. She heads inside and is greeted by Cleopatra, who welcomes her to "paradise."
