Blade Runner: Black Lotus: Las Vegas #2 is the second issue of Blade Runner: Black Lotus: Las Vegas.
Plot[]
Nefertiti and Cleopatra show Elle around the Paradise Hotel and Casino, telling her of its history and that of Las Vegas prior to and following its bombing. This event led to the city becoming a haven for replicants, with factions modeled after ancient Babylonian and Egyptian kingdoms fighting for it. The Egyptian queens, Nefertiti and Cleopatra emerged victorious over King Nebuchadnezzar. Another faction, modeled after the Roman empire, led by Julius Caesar, entered into conflict with the queens, but quickly formed a truce, establishing Las Vegas as a haven for replicants.
Julius Caesar arrives with Nero and Caligula. He immediately casts doubt upon Elle being a replicant, as she lacks a serial number on her eye. Thus, he orders his soldiers to seize her to take her to the arena, but she fights them off and explains that she was created by Niander Wallace, not the Tyrell Corporation.
Meanwhile, the Doll Squad sets off for Vegas and are ambushed by a group of Brekker Solutions operatives led by Ruhl, who intend to claim Elle's bounty. During the firefight, Davis seeks refuge in a hotel, only to be knocked out and captured by Roman soldiers.
