Canaan Corporation was a corporation that employed Alexander Selwyn.[1]
Following the Blackout, Canaan acquired the assets of the Tyrell Corporation.[2] Despite the 2023 prohibition on replicant production, by 2027, the Canaan Corporation hired a number of ex-Tyrell engineers in order to illegally produce highly-obedient Nexus-8s.[3]
By 2037, Canaan had become a competitor of the Wallace Corporation in the energy and biofarming fields.[4]
