Ezekiel was a replicant created by Lilith Tyrell.
He was made to be identical to Los Angeles Police Department Blade Runner Ray McCoy as part of Lilith's plot to sabotage the Wallace Corporation. As McCoy, his assignment was to keep any Blade Runners from foiling Lilith's plans.[1]
