"Jeter continuity" refers to versions of subjects according to the Blade Runner continuation novels written by K. W. Jeter. These novels are ignored and significantly contradicted by Blade Runner 2049 and subsequent works, thus making them no longer in continuity with the film canon.
Articles with this banner include information from the following:
- Blade Runner – the 1992 director's cut appears to be the accepted version, as the "sixth replicant" error is present and it ignores the theatrical cut's claim that Rachael has an open-ended lifespan. Both of these conditions are essential to The Edge of Human's plot
- Blade Runner: A Story of the Future (except where it contradicts the film)
- A Marvel Comics Super Special: Blade Runner (except where it contradicts the film)
- Blade Runner (1997 game)
- Blade Runner 2: The Edge of Human
- Blade Runner 3: Replicant Night
- Blade Runner 4: Eye and Talon
If a topic is completely unchanged between the film and the books, there is no need to create a Jeter article, as the film continuity version of the article will suffice.
