Vid-Phon was a video telecommunication device by Bell Systems that was heavily used in Los Angeles.[1] Zenith was a known manufacturer of such devices, having produced some in Mexico.[2]
The technology was created by November 2019 and was available for in-home use as well as in public booths or inside spinners.[3] Vid-Phons could be used for a small fee and operators were on duty at all hours. Vid-Mail messages could be left if a call is not answered.[1]
As of 2037, Vid-Phon was becoming obsolete due to the Wallace Data Network.[1]
